ARNOLD J. PADILLA is a Filipino activist, writer, and researcher. His articles have been published by Manila-based think tank IBON Foundation, by online publications The Philippine Online Chronicles and Bulatlat.com, and by international advocacy groups Reality of Aid (ROA), Asia Pacific Research Network (APRN), and Pesticide Action Network – Asia Pacific (PAN-AP), among others. He also used to teach at the Far Eastern University (FEU) in Manila. He is currently the Public Information Officer of the New Patriotic Alliance (Bayan).
Great to be a writer-researcher-journalist because you have the facility to communicate. Much more so when one is an activist [political, environmental, other fields] because you can easily get your message across in writing of various forms like news [the fastest vehicle], feature items, or via poetry, short story, etc..
